Police Commissioner Rolando Benito from the East Jutland Police is assigned to the case, and soon evidence emerges pointing to several unsolved and unusual deaths – as well as an old murder case that Rolando has been interested in for a long time.
At the same time, journalist Anne Larsen is working on a story about digital fraud targeting elderly citizens in her CrimeWatchprogram. Her investigation brings her dangerously close to a criminal network determined to stay hidden.
As the investigation progresses, Rolando and Anne are drawn into a dangerous game, where each new discovery brings them closer to an invisible enemy willing to go to great lengths to carry out their plan.
